History
Country 93 is CKYC-FM, a country station in Owen Sound, Ontario, at 93.7 MHz. The licence was granted to Bayshore Broadcasting, which also owns CFOS and CIXK-FM, and broadcasting began at 11 a.m. on 4 September 2001. It mainly serves Grey and Bruce counties. In 2010 the regulator approved a reduction in power and the move of the antenna to a tower shared with CIXK-FM, in order to cut maintenance costs.
