Privacy policy
What this site keeps about the people who visit it, and why.

In two lines
We keep the minimum needed for the site to work and to know which pages get read. We sell nothing to anybody. If you create an account we keep your name and your email; if you do not, we have no idea who you are.
From people who only visit
Every page view leaves a record with the IP address, the address of the page, where the link came from, the browser and the operating system, the languages your browser declares, and the country and city the IP address maps to. It tells us which stations and which countries matter to the people who come here, and it lets us stop whoever makes too many requests.
The IP address is also kept when a request is blocked, because the block could not exist otherwise. Those records are deleted after a year.
From people who create an account
The name you type, the email, the password (kept hashed, never as text), the language you chose, the photo if you add one, and the list of stations you save to your favourites. The name appears nowhere public.
You can delete the account whenever you like, and all of this goes with it. Write to us and we will take care of it.
What leaves this site
Google Analytics and Google AdSense
We use Google Analytics to count visits and Google AdSense to show advertising. Both write cookies in your browser and receive your IP address. AdSense may use what it knows about you from other sites to choose which adverts you see. How Google uses this data.
The station logos
Each station keeps its logo on its own server, and that is where the image is loaded from. Which means that station's server sees your IP address when you open the page. We have no control over what each of them does with it.
Typefaces
The typefaces come from Google's servers, which therefore also receive your IP address.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file the site keeps in your browser. This site uses these:
| Name | What for |
|---|---|
| ci_session | Keeps your session while you browse. Without it, signing in would not be possible. It disappears when you close the browser. |
| _ga, _ga_* | From Google Analytics, to count visits. They last up to 400 days. |
| __gads, __gpi, … | From Google AdSense, to choose and count adverts. The terms and the duration are Google's. |
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or ask us to delete all of it. Just write to the address below. We answer within thirty days.
If you think we have not handled it properly, you can complain to your country's data protection authority.
