History
Mellow 94.7 is DWLL, a station in Mandaluyong, the Philippines, which began broadcasting in 1973 as WLL 94.7 and “Mellow Touch”. It is described as the country's first easy listening radio station: it bet on “more music, less talk”, a formula that other stations ended up copying. The studios were initially in Pasig and moved to Mandaluyong in 1998. In mid-2006 it dropped “Touch” and became Mellow 947.
