History
Skyrock began in Paris in March 1986, created by Pierre Bellanger, who came from the free radio movement. It succeeded La Voix du Lézard, from 1983, whose frequency it used for its first broadcasts in December 1985; some sources mention Franck Ténot and Daniel Filipacchi as co-founders. In 2011 the board removed Bellanger from the executive management, with the fund Axa Private Equity as majority shareholder, and he said he wanted to buy the station back.
