History
YourClassical is the classical music network of Minnesota Public Radio, which began on 22 January 1967, when KSJR-FM went on the air from the campus of Saint John's University in Collegeville. The Twin Cities station came from a commercial station: the 99.5 frequency was born in 1957 as WLOL-FM and, after Emmis sold it to MPR in 1991, was relaunched as KSJN, with full-time classical music. MPR now runs a regional network of 46 stations in the Upper Midwest.
