About
History
Ambient Sleeping Pill was launched in January 2013 by Andrew J. Klimek, who between 2005 and 2008 had hosted a show on WRSU, Rutgers University's radio station, and it was there that he became interested in ambient music. After graduating, he kept thinking about using Internet radio to showcase little-known music. He says it was “just a test”: he had a huge playlist with this name in iTunes, put it on a server and the name stuck. Today it offers music for sleeping, meditating or studying, with no ads and no beats.
