History
CJWW, “Country 600” in Saskatoon, began broadcasting on 12 January 1976, at 1370 AM, as a light music station; the name comes from the owning company, Western World Communications, and the main shareholder was Roy H. Currie. It adopted a country format in 1980, moved to 750 kHz in 1985 and, in 1995, to 600 kHz, the frequency that previously belonged to CFQC. Today it belongs to the Saskatoon Media Group, owned by Elmer Hildebrand.
