About
History
“Sun Radio” is the name of a network of stations in Texas. KDRP-LP, in Dripping Springs, was bought by Daryl O'Neal and his son Denver when it was a 5-watt station, and the Sun Radio brand dates from 2009. In Austin itself, the signal at 100.1 FM is a repeater (K261DW) that began to be fed by KFIT after Township Media bought it, in May 2022; before that, Sun Radio was at 1490 AM.
