About
History
Mosaïque FM went on the air on 7 November 2003 and is generally described as the first private radio station in Tunisia. The founder and director is Noureddine Boutar, who is also the majority shareholder. Before the 2011 revolution it was seen as linked to the Trabelsi family, one of whose members, Belhassen Trabelsi, held 13% of the capital; after the revolution, the State confiscated those shares.
