History
Underground 80s is one of the channels of SomaFM, the independent San Francisco radio station that began in 1999 as an experiment and became a regular Internet broadcaster in February 2000. The channel lives on British synth-pop from the early 1980s, new wave and post-punk, with many tracks that remained in the shadows. It is one of more than twenty channels on the network, which grew out of Drone Zone, Groove Salad and Secret Agent.
